Approach to Management Consulting

There is one thing that precedes every successful exchange of goods or services: listening to the client and asking questions that reveal their true problems. Whether you are refinancing your business or signing a sales transaction, if the service provider does not listen and ask the right questions, they will be relying on luck to make that exchange a success.

At the moment our clients feel we have a strong understanding of their business and what is preventing growth, we begin to peel back the layers of the onion.

Discovery

Through a diligent discovery process, we get to know your business intimately. Without a clear understanding of the inner workings and operations, it would be impossible to give insightful, strategic feedback.

Analysis

Once we understand how the business functions in the marketplace, we can then begin to find inefficiencies that may be preventing growth.

Some of the ways we find these inefficiencies include:

Employee Interviews

Reviewing Financial History

Analyzing Product / Service Offerings

Analyzing the Go-To-Market Strategy

Findings Presentation

Once we have Analyzed the business enough to accurately diagnose the issues, we then present the findings to the client. Sometimes, the news is unpleasant. But, like a good cough syrup, sometimes the best medicine does not always taste so good at the time.

However, our findings are generally anticipated by the client. Where we help most is prioritizing which issues are most significant and what needs to be completed NOW. Making decisions to move forward goes a long way to getting through roadblocks.

Action Plan

Once WE AGREE on the issues that are the highest priorities we move quickly to build the action plan to solve them one by one. This phase is different for every client and is in many ways the most fun for us. We are management consultants because we are good at and enjoy solving business challenges. Let us take some of that stress from you and convert it into opportunity.

Even if you are not ready to engage with a consulting firm yet, let us buy you a coffee and find out whether we have seen your challenges before. We will be more than happy to let you know how we have solved them in the past.

Worst case scenario, we both know one more person than we do now!
